2018 is going to be a pivotal year for SCC. Between the care center, our community, and a deeper focus on discipleship, Prayer has to be the heartbeat of our church. We talk about prayer a lot and that's not going to change. Our lives should be informed by and marked by prayer. We want to be, always, a prayerful people and a prayerful church.
How to Pray For Love
Pastor Jason Chenoweth - 2/18/2018
We're going to look at Ephesians 3:17-21, where Paul prays for his friends to understand how great the height, depth, and width of God's love is. This is something God has been challenging me about for months. You would think something as simple, something as pleasant, as God's love for us would be easy. It's not. It's not at all. We fight it, resist it, run from it, and deny it.

Prayer - anxiety and Prayer

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Join us as we continue to grow in our understanding of prayer and discover the relationship between prayer and anxiety.
Prayer - Is Prayer Productive?
Pastor Brad Davis - 1/14/2018
If you could rate your satisfaction with your prayer life on a scale of 1-10, what score would you give yourself? Truth is, many of us are ambivalent about prayer. We know we’re supposed to pray, but we’re often not sure if it really makes a difference. So join us this weekend as we continue to grow in our understanding of prayer and fuel our desire to pray more often. It could transform your life and your family.
Prayer - A Dangerous Prayer
Pastor Craig Olson - 1/8/2018
2018 is going to be a pivotal year for our church moving forward. And as a staff we believe that the best way to start the year is through a focus on prayer. So this Sunday we’re going to talk about a dangerous prayer. A prayer, that if taken seriously, will completely change Shelbyville and Shelby County.
